How We Work

MC Expert Jobs is operated by MC Expert, a licensed IT consulting and recruitment company based in Belgium. Our mission is to bridge the gap between highly skilled IT consultants and enterprise organisations seeking top talent.

We aggregate IT consulting opportunities from our trusted partner networks, industry sources, and direct client relationships. We then use AI-powered matching to connect the right consultants with the right opportunities — saving time for both candidates and hiring organisations.

Job listings on MC Expert Jobs are sourced through:

• Partner networks: We are a registered partner with multiple IT staffing and consulting platforms. As an authorised partner, we have access to their opportunity databases and may propose qualified consultants for these positions.
• Direct client relationships: Companies and organisations that engage MC Expert directly to find IT consultants for their projects.
• Industry sources: Publicly available job listings from company career pages and professional networks.

All job descriptions are processed using AI technology to standardise formatting, extract key information (skills, location, contract type), and translate content into English when the original listing is in Dutch or French. The factual content of each listing — including role requirements, technologies, and location — is accurately preserved.

MC Expert acts as a recruitment intermediary, not as the direct employer or end client. This means:

• We facilitate the connection between IT consultants and hiring organisations.
• When you apply through our platform, MC Expert will review your profile and, if suitable, propose you to the hiring organisation for the specific role you applied to.
• We will never share your profile or CV with any third party without your explicit action (i.e., you applying to a specific position).
• The final hiring decision is always made by the end client or hiring organisation, not by MC Expert.
• MC Expert is registered and operates in compliance with Belgian labour and recruitment regulations.

Your rights and control over your data are paramount:

• Application-based consent: By submitting an application for a specific job, you explicitly authorise MC Expert to propose your profile and CV to the hiring organisation for that particular position.
• No blanket sharing: Your profile is never shared with companies for positions you have not applied to.
• Withdraw at any time: You may withdraw your application at any time before the hiring organisation has made a decision, by contacting us at contact@mcexpertjobs.io.
• Delete your data: You can request complete deletion of your account, profile, CV, and all associated data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• Notification control: Job alert emails are opt-in only. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

MC Expert Jobs fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection laws:

• Data minimisation: We only collect data that is necessary for matching you with relevant opportunities.
• Secure storage: All personal data, including CVs and profiles, is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls.
• No sale of data: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
• EU data residency: All data is processed and stored within the European Union.
• Right of access: You can request a full export of all data we hold about you at any time.
• Data retention: We retain your data only for as long as your account is active. Inactive accounts and associated data are automatically purged after 24 months of inactivity.

We use artificial intelligence to improve your experience:

• Smart matching: Our AI analyses your profile, skills, and CV to calculate a match score for each new opportunity. You are only notified about jobs that are genuinely relevant to your expertise.
• Automated translations: Job descriptions originally in Dutch or French are automatically translated into English using AI, ensuring all consultants can access the same information regardless of language.
• Job processing: AI is used to extract structured information (title, skills, location, contract type) from unstructured job descriptions. All AI-processed content is reviewed for accuracy.

AI is used as a tool to assist and accelerate the matching process. All significant decisions (proposing a candidate, selecting a profile) involve human review by the MC Expert team.

MC Expert operates under the following legal framework:

• Belgian company law: MC Expert is a registered company operating under Belgian commercial law.
• Recruitment regulations: We comply with Belgian regulations governing recruitment intermediation and temporary work (Wet betreffende de uitzendarbeid / Loi relative au travail intérimaire) as applicable to IT consulting intermediation.
• GDPR / AVG: Full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Belgian Data Protection Act.
• Anti-discrimination: We do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. All candidates are evaluated solely on their skills, experience, and suitability for the role.
• Intellectual property: Job descriptions are processed and transformed using AI. We respect the intellectual property of our partner networks and present factual job requirements in our own format.

We believe in complete transparency with our candidates:

• You will always know which position your profile is being proposed for.
• We will inform you of any progress or feedback from the hiring organisation.
• Our service to candidates is completely free — we are compensated by the hiring organisation only upon a successful placement.
• If a job listing is removed or expired, we will not continue to use your application for other positions unless you explicitly request it.
