We are looking for a Medior Fiscal Consultant specializing in indirect taxes. The role involves managing Accounts Receivable, daily financial processing, general accounting, and ensuring compliance with government accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have experience with SAP and a strong understanding of public accounting.
Description (English)
You are responsible for the complete and correct financial processing within Accounts Receivable and part of the general accounting. You ensure accurate follow-up of invoicing, receivables, and bookings, and support the reliability of financial figures according to both general accounting principles and government accounting rules (BBC).
Responsibilities
•Accounts Receivable
•Preparing sales proposals/invoices and sending additional information to members/customers.
•Launching, managing, and sending payment reminders via SAP.
•Following up with members/customers with outstanding items during monthly meetings.
•Reconciling the debtor account and clarifying reconciliation differences, at least semi-annually via an official template.
•Answering ad-hoc questions from customers regarding sales invoices.
•Accounting control of outstanding receivables.
•Banks & Daily Financial Processing
•Booking and checking bank transactions.
•Processing bank statements.
•Preparing payment files and manual payments, including sending emails to approvers.
•Monitoring the balance of current and savings accounts with a view to optimizing interest based on cash flow forecasts.
•Informing stakeholders about cash position and supporting cash planning.
•General Accounting
•Booking and checking general journal entries, including payroll-related journal entries.
•Periodic reconciliations of balance accounts.
•Matching and following up on bookings on suspense accounts.
•Preparing periodic closings.
•Preparing audit files for internal and external control.
•Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports.
•Generating and managing reports in response to ad-hoc questions from customers or internal stakeholders.
•Preparing monthly VAT returns.
•Preparing quarterly balance of payments reporting.
•Preparing tax forms.
•Government Accounting – BBC (Policy and Management Cycle)
•Applying the rules and logic of BBC accounting.
•Assisting in preparing or checking BBC reports (budget, multi-year planning, accounts).
•Ensuring traceability and uniformity according to BBC standards.
Technical Competencies
•Experience with SAP environments.
•Good knowledge of Excel.
•Insight into public accounting.
