Read the full description
VRT is looking for a broadcast installation coordinator with a strong interest and relevant project experience in video and audio production in a broadcast environment.

VRT is currently building a new, modern media building. Within the New Construction Directorate, the Media Facilities department is responsible for the realization of all technical resources that will be used in the new building for creating, processing, and distributing audiovisual content. The Media Facilities project is divided into several subdomains: Media Production (live), Post Production, Connectivity, and Infrastructure. External integrators have been appointed within each of these domains, each responsible for a part of the realization of the many media facilities.

During the realization phase of the Media Facilities in the new building, various external integrators will work simultaneously to ensure that the tight installation schedule is followed. At the same time, coordination must also take place with the contractor of the building who is currently realizing its layout.

VRT takes on the role of coordinator between the various parties in this process. To put this into practice, we are looking for an experienced and driven Site Coordinator who wants to take on the challenge of directly contributing to the realization of the new VRT house, and guiding this together with colleagues.

You organize, facilitate, and lead regular and ad hoc coordination meetings.
You pay attention to small and larger potential conflict situations on site and always ensure the most efficient possible solution.
Together with the involved VRT project managers, you ensure that the right production resources are provided in the new VRT house.
You act as a representative of the New Construction Directorate to the various internal and external parties and ensure constructive and solution-oriented collaboration.

What do we expect from you?

You are a true bridge builder who networks smoothly with the various partners inside and outside VRT.
You can work autonomously, inspire, and manage the expectations of all stakeholders.
You can work project-based, have an organized administrative approach but can act pragmatically when needed.
You can formulate advice, suggestions, and feedback and succeed in convincing others based on clear and substantiated arguments.
You are a team player and can easily integrate and identify with the objectives of VRT.
You are punctual, results-oriented, stress-resistant, and can work within the agreed structures.
You have the maturity to lead meetings efficiently and correctly.
Organizing is in your blood, and you ensure transparency.
Experience in the media world, particularly audiovisual production, is important.
You are available for this assignment from spring 2026 to spring 2028.

The assignment will be awarded to one or more parties.

Interested?

This is a self-employed contract via an intermediary. For this assignment, you will receive a contract offered with Solvus, not directly with VRT.
