Overview

We are looking for a specialist in databases, primarily Oracle and Cassandra, and data analysis to strengthen our OT Netbeheer Systemen team. In addition to the 'run' tasks on the OT data foundation (health checks and adjustments, upgrades and patching, data refreshes in non-production environments, data updates and cleaning, ...), the role also includes investigating, developing, and optimizing new business needs, projects, and integrations with surrounding systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform health checks and adjustments on the OT data foundation.

•Manage upgrades and patching of database systems.

•Conduct data refreshes in non-production environments.

•Execute data updates and cleaning tasks.

•Investigate and develop new business needs and projects.

•Optimize integrations with surrounding systems.

Skills & Experience

•Proven experience in optimizing and tuning databases.

•Proven experience in setting up and maintaining Apache Cassandra environments (2 years, mid).

•Proven experience in setting up and maintaining Linux environments (5 years, senior).

•Proven experience in setting up and maintaining Oracle environments (5 years, senior).

•Proven experience in scripting in Python.

•Proven experience in scripting in Shell.

•Demonstrable knowledge and experience with relational databases (8 years, expert).

•Higher education (Master's or Bachelor's) or equivalent through experience.

•Ability to accurately document work and procedures during an interview.

Languages

•Language requirement: Proficiency in Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

Additional Info

•Experience with change and release processes is preferred.

•Experience with large business-critical applications is preferred.

•Experience with ISO27001 operations - security mindset is preferred.

•Experience in setting up databases is preferred.

•Experience with at least one operating system (e.g., Unix, Linux, Windows) is preferred.

•Experience within OT SCADA systems is a plus.

Additional Information

•The right to telework is not enforceable and will always be determined in consultation with the team leader. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.

•Exceptional performance outside of office hours may be necessary for releases.
