Overview
You will work as an Expert (Telecom Specialist, experienced senior) in communication/telephony for the Digital Solutions department of the organization and will be involved in projects related to the communication platform.Key Responsibilities
Follow-up and further optimization of existing and new connections for the central sites as well as for the VMM measuring stations placed in Flanders.
Subprojects:
• Migration of existing redundant Explore connection for M2M to multisite Explore connection, already in use for business Trunking (execution).• Study/POC and recommendations for replacing M2M with other mobile communication platforms such as satellite connections.
• Coordination and follow-up of planned telephony projects, including call recording in VMM call centers (follow-up).
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a similar role as Telecom Specialist.
Proven experience in Integration UC and PABX + Active Directory.
Proven experience in coordinating, monitoring, and directing telephony projects.
Proven experience with Unified Communication technology.
Proven experience as Technical/Install. - Network infrastructure.
Proven experience with Call center functionalities (virtual environment, currently Mitel), e.g., call queues, recording applications, etc.
Proven experience with LAN, WAN protocols.
Proven experience with MS Teams telephony (technical).
Proven experience with Routing & Switching.
Proven knowledge of M2M.
Proven experience within the Flemish government.
Languages
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
Additional Info
This is an assignment for 30 working days.
The services are to be delivered at the VMM premises in Aalst or Ghent between 8:30 AM and 5 PM.
The organization provides the necessary licenses, software, and network access for carrying out the assignment. The organization does not provide an office license. The Office 365 software can be made available by the organization, but without a license. The applicant must use their own company license. Alternatively, LibreOffice can be made available.
What you'll do
- Opvolging en de verdere optimalisatie van bestaande en nieuwe aansluitingen voor de centrale sites alsook voor de VMM meetstations geplaatst in Vlaanderen.
- Migratie van bestaande redundante Explore aansluiting voor M2M naar multisite Explore aansluiting, reeds in gebruik voor business Trunking (uitvoeren).
- Studie/POC en aanbevelingen ter vervanging van M2M door andere mobiele communicatieplatformen zoals satellietverbindingen.
- Coördinatie en opvolging van voorziene telefonie projecten, o.a. voor gespreksopnames in VMM call centers (opvolging).
