We are looking for a Senior GIS Expert with demonstrable experience in GIS system development and programming tasks. The role involves leading Agile methodologies and managing geocoding and data manipulation for various purposes. The position is based in our office in Brussels.

Overview

Demonstrable experience in the development of GIS systems.
Demonstrable experience in programming tasks, able to code, test, and debug fluently.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology, where a leading role can be taken.
Demonstrable experience in geocoding, vector and raster graphics formats, rescaling and manipulating data for various purposes, writing queries for the involved database environment.
Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop GIS systems.

•Code, test, and debug programming tasks.

•Take the lead in Agile development methodologies.

•Manage geocoding, vector and raster graphics formats.

•Rescale and manipulate data for various purposes.

•Write queries for the involved database environment.

Skills & Experience

•Demonstrable experience in the development of GIS systems.

•Demonstrable experience with ESRI Enterprise Software: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online.

•Demonstrable experience with Geocortex Essentials and Geocortex Viewer.

•Demonstrable experience with SQL Server.

•Demonstrable experience in programming tasks, able to code, test, and debug fluently.

•Demonstrable experience with agile/scrum working.

•Demonstrable experience with FME.

•Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL.

Languages

•Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
