We are looking for a Governance Officer IA to operationalize effective and ethical AI governance within our organization. The role involves collaboration with various business units and ensuring compliance with the EU AI Act. Key responsibilities include operational management of AI governance, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and training.
Description (English)
Context
A preliminary mission to define the AI governance framework compliant with the EU AI Act has already been completed. It has produced the following main deliverables: definition of an AI system, initiation of an evaluation questionnaire for AI systems regarding the EU AI Act, updating AI and GenAI guidelines, an overview of roles and obligations, as well as an action plan and an operating model.
Main Mission
The AI Governance Officer is the central point for operationalizing effective, ethical, and compliant AI governance within our organization. He/She acts as the main liaison between the Business Units (1st line) and the 2nd line, ensuring collaboration, continuous improvement, and alignment with regulatory (EU AI Act) and business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
3.1 Operational Management of AI Governance
•Establish and maintain operational and integrated AI Governance: design concrete and actionable processes, deploy them transversally across the organization, and ensure continuous improvement based on risks, regulations, and business needs.
3.2 Regulatory Compliance & Normative Framework
•Support compliance with the EU AI Act: closely collaborate with risk and legal teams to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational governance measures.
•Tools & AI Lifecycle: plan, build, and install a centralized AI Inventory, and formalize AI lifecycle processes.
3.3 Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
•Act as the central coordinator of AI Governance, promoting collaboration and communication between Business Units, Risk, Legal, Keyes, Data Office, and external partners.
3.4 Awareness, Training & Culture
•Ensure awareness and knowledge development regarding AI governance (AI Act): ensure that stakeholders have the appropriate level of information and training to understand and apply the current requirements.
