Hiring a helpdesk employee (ML) for the Agency for Agriculture and Fisheries
Overview
We are looking to hire a Service Desk employee for the IT Operations service within the Digitalization and Organization department. This IT operations service ensures the production and maintenance of the complete IT structure, both on software and hardware levels.Key Responsibilities
•First-line helpdesk support: Ticket registration (creation, completion, dispatching to other teams, priority determination) and ticket resolution for first-line tasks
•Helping to ensure permanence
•Installing and managing user desktop environments.
•Installing and managing PC hardware and peripherals.
•IT inventory and stock management
•Configuring and issuing smartphones
•Communicating with the client side and reporting to team and service heads.
Skills & Experience
•Candidates must have a minimum of 60 months full-time professional experience in ICT, of which at least 48 months as a service desk employee.
•Demonstrable experience in using service desk tools (e.g., Omnitracker) and managing a CMDB.
•Clearly understandable and effective communicator via phone.
•Demonstrable knowledge of Windows Active Directory: User management, Computer management, DHCP, DNS, DFS, File management, Group policies at the user and computer level.
•Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with managing and installing Windows desktop environments: Windows 11, Office 2016 or newer, PC installations, adding and removing PC hardware, Windows Deployment Services, SCCM.
•Demonstrable experience with managing and supporting users in a Citrix-based environment and on virtual machines (VMware) - should have
•Demonstrable experience with managing VPN technology such as DirectAccess or Always On VPN - should have
•Demonstrable experience with managing mobile devices in a professional environment (e.g., Mobile Iron or Microsoft Intune) - should have.
Languages
•Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
