We are looking for a Senior ICT Architect to develop and implement ICT and data architecture at a strategic level. The role involves advising on ICT projects, supporting IT project leaders, and ensuring optimal service delivery. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in specific architectural domains and knowledge of various ICT strategies.

Overview

As an (enterprise) ICT Architect (Senior), you will be responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous adjustment of the ICT and data architecture at a strategic (enterprise) level and/or within one or more domains (business, process, information, application, data, technical, etc.). You will also provide advice on ICT project requests. You will assess and advise on the IT plan from a technical perspective and contribute to the establishment of ICT and data standards, guidelines, and architecture. You will support IT project leaders in the substantive preparation, monitoring, and oversight of the ICT component in projects. You will participate in PMO meetings and take on an expert role there.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively analyze the IT needs of the organization and clients to accurately identify opportunities to achieve the desired results digitally.

•Based on policy and needs analysis, proactively define, implement, and adjust services within the field to best support the internal client and the organization.

•Advise internal clients both upon request and proactively from the field to provide expert solutions for issues or problems.

•Monitor, evaluate, and adjust the progress or results of processes and services to ensure optimal quality and efficiency in accordance with agreements, guidelines, and regulations.

•Communicate about the services to inform (internal) clients and management and encourage them to utilize the services.

•Lead or participate in (sub)projects or working groups in the IT area to contribute to achieving the agreed project objectives.

•Network, actively maintain, exchange, and utilize knowledge and experience to optimize the quality of services and provide input for the organization's policy.

•Within the team, consult indicators and other quality parameters and compare them to the standard to identify shortcomings and take action if necessary.

•Based on experience in your own field and with insight into other fields, help determine policy to align it with the organization's needs.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrable experience as a specialist architect in a specific domain (networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ERP, ECM platforms, Data warehouse, and BI, ...) or Enterprise Architect.

Languages

Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
