Overview

We are looking for an ICT Business Analyst - Consultant to join an agile DevOps team that is responsible for developing and managing state-of-the-art applications and components for the port and the port community. The organization is engaged in a program to double the rail freight transport via the port by 2030. A crucial part of this program is the development of a digital Rail Platform to ensure smooth information exchange among all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and realize an application that provides end-to-end transparency over door-to-door rail freight transport.
Follow trains, wagons, and their cargo from departure to arrival by consolidating and visualizing data from various sources for all stakeholders in the transport chain.
Convert business requirements into functional specifications using epics, story maps, and user stories.
Analyze and test clearly defined components of a project; independently create test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Support software developers and architects during the design and construction of customer-facing applications.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in general business operations with application in the ICT field.
Proven experience in the development and optimization of business processes (BPM).
Proven experience with software development projects as an analyst, tester, or developer.
BPMN certified.
Experience with agile methods such as SCRUM.
Experience with Backlog Management.
Experience in drafting User Stories.
Experience in projects in the domain of railways.
Experience with software testing (UAT).
Experience with Stakeholder management.
Experience with team coaching.
Familiarity with Confluence and Jira.
Knowledge and experience of various Project Management aspects (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates).
