Overview
The consultant supports the development of phase 1 of the energy balance and takes on a substantive role. He or she helps to build the logic of the energy balance, analyze differences, structure data flows, and translate results into usable deliverables for business and finance. This phase will last approximately 4 months or shorter if this phase can be completed faster.In a combined deployment, the senior consultant takes the substantive lead, while a second profile supports in data analysis, structuring, documentation, and preparation of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Develop an energy balance according to mass-balance logic
Analyze allocations, reconciliation, billed, unbilled, and residual differences
Develop purchase and cost sides based on operational sources (including correctly processing certificates, SocTar, injection, energy shares, PPA, …)
Identify data gaps, assumptions, mismatches, and control points
Support the bridge to provisions, accounting, and financial interpretation
Support the bridge to operational controls to enhance the data quality of the used sources
Document methodology, definitions, sources, and calculation logic
Coordinate with business, finance, data/IT, and other involved experts
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in general business operations applied to the ICT field.
Proven experience in the energy sector
Proven experience in preparing and analyzing energy balances
Proven experience with Lynx and ETRM
Proven experience in development and optimization of business processes (BPM)
Proven experience in stakeholder management
Proven experience with complex data analyses and translating them into business and finance
Proven knowledge and experience of various Project Management aspects (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
Languages
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
