Overview

For the FOCUS team within the Intelligence & Innovation department, we are looking for an experienced ICT Business Analyst / Product Owner. In this role, you combine analytical skills with a strong product vision and take ownership of digital solutions that enhance police operations.

You act as a bridge between business and IT, translating operational needs into concrete, scalable, and future-oriented solutions. At the same time, as a Product Owner, you safeguard the product vision, priorities, and roadmap, ensuring maximum value creation for end users.

You work closely with internal stakeholders (operational services, management, IT teams) and external partners, playing a key role in realizing innovative solutions within a complex and socially relevant context.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and document business needs and translate them into functional and technical solutions

•Take on the Product Owner role within agile projects (managing backlog, prioritization, roadmap)

•Optimize processes and support digital transformation initiatives

•Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings

•Monitor quality, progress, and added value of solutions

•Actively contribute to innovation within the FOCUS team

Skills & Experience

•Proven experience in general business operations applied to the ICT field.

•Proven experience in the development and optimization of business processes (BPM)

•Proven experience in stakeholder management

•Proven knowledge and experience of various Project Management aspects (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)

Languages

•Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
