Overview
The ICT security consultant is an expert in ICT security. He/she will fulfill an advisory role in developing the ICT security policy of the province. He/she has theoretical knowledge of ISO 2700x, NIS2, and has extensive practical experience in setting up an ISMS (information security management system), preferably within a government administration. In addition to this advisory role, the specialist will also be responsible for further developing ongoing security projects within the province. For this, he/she has the necessary expertise in coordination tasks and gathering the required information. He/she is responsible for project initiation, planning, monitoring, and reporting, as well as setting up and conducting necessary surveys. It goes without saying that this must be carried out in close interaction with various departments and ICT services. The specialist must therefore have extensive experience with the workings of a government administration, preferably at the provincial level. Practical experience within the province is seen as a strong asset.Key Responsibilities
Advisory role in support of the provincial ICT security policy.
Project initiation, planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Setting up and conducting necessary surveys.
Close interaction with various departments and ICT services.
Skills & Experience
Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with a technical/engineering background or equivalent experience with ICT technology for which expertise is requested.
Demonstrable experience for the technology in question or a similar technology.
Languages
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
Additional Info
Demonstrable experience in a similar role as a Security Consultant.
Demonstrable experience in analyzing, optimizing, and documenting security processes and governance, particularly those of the Flemish government (after training period).
Demonstrable experience with IAM.
Demonstrable experience with process analysis.
Demonstrable experience within the Flemish/local government (should have).
Demonstrable experience with ITIL (should have).
Documents in a methodical and qualitative manner (should have).
