Description

As the head of the IT "SAP ISU" team, the consultant will work closely with business departments and other teams within the IT department. The consultant will be responsible for:
maintaining and evolving the platform (upgrades, etc.);
capacity planning (resource needs);
operational management (batches, etc.), except for the infrastructure part;
the relationship with the integration partner (jointly with the IT Vendor Manager).
Like all members of the IT management team, the consultant will manage people (staffing, objectives, training, etc.), methodologies (processes, procedures, architecture, etc.), and the budget related to their area of expertise in consultation with the responsible parties. They will also participate in defining and strategizing the evolution of the IT Department.

In this role, they will be responsible for:

Establishing a strategy for the evolution of the SAP ISU ecosystem. This task includes setting up:
the technical and functional architecture;
management and development tools;
the process for implementation and maintenance. These elements are applicable for the S4HANA ecosystem.
Monitoring collaboration with an external partner who maintains the SAP-S4HANA environment.
Managing SAP ISU. This task includes:
monitoring the ongoing and upcoming SAP ISU project portfolio;
selecting and managing resources (internal and external) for executing SAP ISU projects.

Throughout your mission, you must comply with GDPR, ISO27001, and NIS2 rules.

Execution modalities of the mission:

The designated consultant will be assigned full-time to the execution of the contract and must potentially perform 440 man-days spread over a duration of approximately 2 years, based on a 40-hour work week, during VIVAQUA's opening days. Services will be performed at least 3 days/week in person at VIVAQUA's headquarters, potentially in a non-consecutive manner, unless expressly authorized by the Head of the IT Department. It is noted that the consultant is not allowed to work overtime or outside office hours (Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) without the express authorization of VIVAQUA. The designated consultant must consider the continuity of service needs of VIVAQUA and the constraints related to the projects it manages when planning their leave and will agree in advance with the Executive Officer on this matter. The designated consultant must comply with the provisions of the "Code of Conduct for External Contractors" of VIVAQUA, this document being available upon request.

Additional Information:

The mission can be extended for a maximum duration (including the initial duration) of 880 working days.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including 10 in project and team management.
  • Experience managing full cycle implementations in SAP projects.
  • Experience in managing an ERP competence center (organization, governance, roles, sourcing).
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions, both ECC 6 and S4.
  • Experience managing a mixed team of at least 20 internal and external members.
  • Good knowledge of ERP implementation methodology and its execution.
  • Experience in defining and monitoring the strategy (technical and functional) of a SAP ecosystem in alignment with company strategy.
  • Experience in an industrial company and understanding their needs and constraints.
  • Experience in the Utilities sector (or water sector) for at least 2 years.
  • Experience managing SAP S/4 – IS-U projects.
  • Experience writing specifications in public procurement.
