ABOUT THE POSITION
The position is responsible for performing sampling, chemical, physical, and radiological analyses, and processing the analysis results within the established timeframe to have control measures available to support operational processes and provide information for controlled and uncontrolled discharges.

Note: There is a collective closure from 14/07/2026 to 02/08/2026. Given the course of the selection procedure and the application for a security authorization/advice, the candidate will only be able to start in August.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The position is responsible for performing sampling, chemical, physical, and radiological analyses, and processing the analysis results within the established timeframe to have control measures available to support operational processes and provide information for controlled and uncontrolled discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
•Taking samples for analysis in the lab with the aim of registering, analyzing, reporting, and interpreting the analysis results within imposed parameters.
•Performing chemical, physicochemical, and chromatographic analyses and inductively coupled plasma spectrometry.
•Performing total α/β/γ activity measurements and radiochemical spectrometry analyses using liquid scintillation.
•Performing analyses on concrete samples.
•Contributing to the accreditation of a quality assurance system in the lab to demonstrate the correctness of the analysis results to external parties.
•Performing and interpreting inter-laboratory tests.
•Reporting complaints, non-conformities, and deviations.
•Organizing and conducting measurement series in preparation for the validation report.
•Monitoring the functioning of analytical equipment, taking action in case of problems in this area, and following up to ensure analyses can be performed under optimal conditions.
•Performing calibrations and checks of lab equipment.
•Contributing to the validation of techniques, methods, and devices.
•Recording deviations in the designated application.
•Keeping up with new developments and proposing relevant innovations/improvements to always work with recent and accurate analytical techniques, staying informed about the latest techniques and technologies, and working as accurately as possible.
•Critically reviewing analytical methods.
•Introducing new possibilities.
•Attending training and technical workshops.
•Working according to the company's own (inter)national standards and parameters to always comply with this legislation.
•Guiding controlling authorities during sampling on-site.
•Drafting and adjusting instructions.
