We are looking for a Lead Business and Migration Analyst to support the implementation of a new digital platform. The role involves overseeing application configuration, data migration, and ensuring that key users understand the new system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis, data migrations, and UAT processes.

Lead Business & Migration Analyst

Project Context
The Bridges platform is the central digital platform for managing:
member administration
contributions and financial flows
premiums and reimbursements
administrative and financial processes
other applications such as CMS, Sherpa, Lighthouse, Enterprises & Social elections (not in scope phase 1)
The platform replaces legacy applications and forms the core of modern application architecture. The intention is to roll out the platform, which is already operational in a sister organization, to a new Central. Although the core activities are similar, the Central operates with:
its own social funds
its own contribution categories
its own financial flows and account numbers
specific operational processes
This requires custom configuration and possibly adjustments to the software. The initial implementation focus is on the applications:

Project Phasing
The implementation of Bridges for the Central occurs in three phases.
Phase 1 – Deployment, configuration, and migration preparation
This phase includes:
rollout of infrastructure and application environment
configuration of Bridges tailored to the Central
preparation and execution of three iterations of data migration
setting up an operational UAT environment
guiding key users to understand the new application environment
validation of migrations by the business
analysis of differences between current operations and Bridges
The result of phase 1 is:
an operational UAT environment
a validated migration
a complete fit-gap analysis
a report of missing functionalities
Phase 2 – Development of missing functionalities (not in scope)
Based on the fit-gap analysis:
necessary new functionalities will be developed
existing functionalities will be adjusted
validations will be conducted with the business
Phase 3 – Production rollout (not in scope)
This phase includes:
production rollout of infrastructure and application
user training
change management
final migration
go-live of the platform.

Role Objective
For phase 1, a Lead Business & Migration Analyst – Bridges is appointed in the Central. His role is to support the responsible person for the business implementation of the new system by assisting him at technical, operational, and coordination levels. He/she takes on the operational coordination and communication with the technical teams.

This person ensures that:
the application is correctly configured for the Central
the data migration proceeds in a controlled and validated manner
key users understand and can validate the new applications
the differences between Bridges and the needs of the Central are clearly identified
the schedule is respected

Responsibilities
Application implementation and configuration
The Lead Business & Migration Analyst:
guides the rollout of the Bridges applications and environments
configures the application tailored to the Central, including:
o contribution categories
o social funds
o account numbers
o parameters for premiums and payments
coordinates with technical teams on deployment and environments
directs the technical specialist responsible for executing the data migrations
directs the QA engineer who tests the application and migrated data prior to validation by key users
In this role, he/she ensures that migrations, testing, and configurations are carried out in a timely and correct order, allowing UAT validation by key users to take place in a stable and controlled environment.

Migration coordination
The role includes preparing and guiding data migrations:
defining migration rules and data mapping
organizing three iterations of migration
setting up data quality controls and reconciliation
coordinating validation by key users
The Lead Business & Migration Analyst directly supervises the technical specialist responsible for executing the migration.

UAT process
The role ensures a structured validation of the applications:
setting up a UAT environment
defining test scenarios and validation criteria
preparing and following up with key users during the validation process
tracking feedback and defects.

Preparation and organization of Workshops and training
The Lead Business & Migration Analyst organizes workshops around the validation of migrations. He/She prepares training for key users.
Fit-gap analysis
The role includes analyzing differences between:
the existing functionalities of Bridges
the specific needs of the Central
This results in:
documentation of missing functionalities
preparation of a structured fit-gap report in preparation for phase 2.
A specifications document

Governance and collaboration
The Lead Business & Migration Analyst assists the person responsible for the business implementation of the new system. In this role:
he/she builds a thorough knowledge of the Bridges core applications
understands the needs and context of the Central and formulates substantiated advice
monitors the schedule and progress of phase 1
timely signals risks or dependencies
acts as a central figure between the business implementation responsible for the Central and the Bridges development teams
ensures that the necessary functional and technical information is quickly identified, shared, and documented.

migration validated by the business
documented configuration of Bridges for the Central

prioritized development list for phase 2
specifications document
