We are looking for an experienced consultant or training firm to deliver interactive training sessions on Operational Risk Management for a non-specialized audience. The training will consist of 3-4 sessions aimed at familiarizing participants with operational risk concepts through engaging methods.

Overview

BCL is organizing internal awareness sessions for all interested staff members to learn about Operational Risk Management. In that context, we are seeking an experienced consultant or training firm to prepare and deliver an interactive 60- to 75-minute training to a varied audience that is not necessarily familiar with Operational Risk. The consultant will present the training in 3-4 sessions during a single calendar week.

Key Responsibilities

•Familiarize audience with what constitutes an operational risk and the importance of operational risk management through a gamified exercise/simulation, which is based on a simple generic scenario (i.e., a scenario that is not specific to our organization).

•Describe how risks are assessed (for instance by evaluating their impact and probability).

•Highlight how conducting risk assessments helps implement adequate safeguards (e.g., avoid over-control).

•Emphasize the value of reporting incidents as a means to identify new risks.

•Illustrate how understanding risks allows for better preparation and response to potential challenges.

Format

•3 to 4 sessions of 60-75 minutes between 28 September – 2 October 2026.

•Audience: max. 25 participants.

•Location: In person at our office.

•Language: English.
