Overview

We are looking for a Fiscal Consultant specialized in indirect taxes to join our team in the Department of Finance and Budget. The role involves analyzing and optimizing tax processes and eTax configurations, supporting the correct processing and reporting of taxes, and translating changes in tax regulations into system adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and optimize fiscal processes and eTax configurations.

•Support the correct processing and reporting of taxes.

•Translate changes in tax regulations into system adjustments.

•Coordinate with technical teams for the implementation of fiscal solutions.

•Test and validate tax-related functionalities.

•Contribute to the correct, compliant, and efficient processing of fiscal obligations within OraFin.

Skills & Experience

•Proven experience as a Fiscal Consultant.

•Proven experience with indirect taxes.

•Experience in government accounting.

•Higher education (Master or Bachelor).

•Knowledge of encumbrance accounting.

•Knowledge of eTax.

•Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials.

•Proven experience in analyzing and controlling complex files to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and procedures.

•Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

•Knowledge of the processes within the Flemish Government is a strong asset.

Languages

•Language requirement: Fluent in Dutch at European CEFR level C2 (not included in the languages array).
