We are looking for a Process Technician for dryer installation who will manage the sludge processing and dryer operations. The role requires good knowledge of electromechanics and the ability to work independently in a two-shift system. This position contributes to both clean water and the production of green energy.

Sludge is one of the by-products that remains after the purification process, a substance with value! Because when sludge is dried, you have a product that can be fully used as a green energy source and raw material. In a 2-shift system, you and your colleagues from the Dryer team in Houthalen ensure a qualitative and reliable operation of the sludge processing plant and the dryer in Houthalen. This way, you not only work towards clean water, but you also contribute to the reuse of materials and the production of green energy.

ROLE


You are responsible for the process management of the sludge processing and dryer. You conduct rounds, take samples, check measurements, and adjust process parameters where necessary. With your good knowledge of electromechanics, you identify electrical and mechanical faults and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance. To monitor the process effectively, you ensure administrative follow-up and necessary reporting. You work in a 2-shift system alternating weekly between early and late shifts. You are willing to step in on weekends in day shifts if necessary.

REQUIREMENTS


Good knowledge of electromechanics and electricity
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Willingness to work in a 2-shift system: (early, late)
Shift 1: Monday to Friday early shift (6 - 14h)
Shift 2: Monday to Friday late shift (14h-22h)
Occasionally stepping in on weekends: Saturday/Sunday (8h-16h)
Proficient in Microsoft 365 apps and able to handle administrative tasks as well.
Vaccination for Hepatitis A and Tetanus is mandatory.

If the consultant can immediately present a BA competency certificate, this is sufficient and replaces the BA vocational competency certificate.

If a proposed candidate is eligible for the described role, he/she will be invited for an online knowledge test. Only upon passing this test can a candidate be invited for an interview.
