Assignment
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager Security & Information Security to lead the NIS2 program and bring the organization to the required NIS2 Essentials compliance level by April 2027.
You will be responsible for steering the program, coordinating the underlying projects, and following up on the program objectives. You will work with security specialists, architects, project leaders, and business stakeholders to ensure that all initiatives are aligned.
While a strong affinity for security and information security is required, the emphasis of this role is on program steering, governance, stakeholder management, and change management.
The program includes projects related to:
At least 2 working days per week present in Brussels.

The program includes projects related to:
•Strengthening governance and security policy;
•Risk management and compliance in the context of NIS2;
•Identity & Access Management (IAM);
•Security monitoring and incident management;
•Asset, vulnerability, and configuration management;
•Business continuity and disaster recovery;
•Awareness and security awareness;
•Improvement of security processes and controls.
Responsibilities
•Guide and coordinate the entire NIS2 program to evolve the organization from the current maturity level to the required NIS2 Essentials level.
•Develop and monitor program governance, roadmap, and priorities.
•Coordinate the various projects, workflows, and interdependencies within the program.
•Monitor planning, budget, risks, quality, and program progress.
•Identify bottlenecks and proactively initiate corrective measures to achieve program objectives.
•Prepare, initiate, and follow up on new projects within the security program.
•Ensure clear communication and reporting to management, the program steering group, and other stakeholders.
•Translate complex security and compliance issues into clear decision-making information.
•Align with the ePMO regarding methodology, governance, and progress reporting.
•Guide the necessary organizational changes and adoption processes.
Required Experience
•At least 10 years of experience in program and project management.
•Proven experience in leading complex transformation or compliance programs.
•Proven experience in change management.
•Experience coordinating multiple projects and dependencies within a program.
•Affinity with Business Architecture, Application Architecture, and Technical (Security) Architecture.
•Experience within a federal government institution is a plus.

•Conceptual knowledge of one or more of the following security domains (technology, regulation): Endpoints, perimeter, NIS2, networks, databases, secure software development, etc.
Languages
•A very good knowledge of French or Dutch, with sufficient knowledge of the other national language.
•English: understanding.

•Presenting (during the interview) a reference case where the responsibilities that the Program Manager will have are highlighted.
