ABOUT THE ROLE:
Coordinate, organize, and optimize technical processes, disciplines, and projects, provide specialized advice, and develop safety guidelines within your specialization(s) to improve operational efficiency in the medium term, deepen knowledge within your specialization, and ensure safety.
Proactively identify optimization opportunities in collaboration with various internal and/or external stakeholders to map and initiate improvements and/or projects.
Map and apply internal and external lessons learned and best practices for improvements.
Monitor, adjust, and optimize (process) installations.
Prepare technical and/or operational documents.
Prepare, guide, and execute in-depth and specialized calculations, analyses, and/or research for issues and/or projects to enable adjustments and innovations and contribute to optimizations.
Design installations and processes.
Develop new models and/or methodologies.
Draft, verify, and adjust various notes, files, studies, and procedures.
Develop technical solutions and specifications for projects and/or issues to respond to improvement needs.
Technically translate needs into compliant solutions.
Develop and implement action plans and/or innovative developments.
Draft reports and recommendations and gather necessary information.
Conduct and/or participate in risk analyses and establish safety measures for projects, changes, and/or periodic revisions to contribute to the safety of installations and/or the broader work environment.
Conduct and/or participate in HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT, MOC, …
Lead, organize, and adjust projects, as well as report to ensure that work is completed in line with established deadlines, budgets, project objectives, and quality requirements.
Draft and monitor project plans, as well as follow up and report on the project budget.
Set up consultation structures with various stakeholders and prepare reports.
Coordinate the project from the initial phase to the closing phase according to the applicable PMO procedure.
Continuously analyze and provide the necessary project, maintenance, and/or framework contracts in accordance with public procurement law, as well as act as the leading official to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and minimize legal risks.
Fully develop and/or coordinate the preparation of tender documents considering the correct technical specifications.
Guide and contribute to the awarding process.
Follow up, evaluate, and adjust assignments.
Provide in-depth technical advice and act as an expert within your specialization for internal and external stakeholders, as well as follow up on realizations to technically assist stakeholders and facilitate analyses, projects, and work based on your substantive knowledge.
Monitor the maintainability, safety, availability, and/or reliability of technical installations and processes in the long term both in studies and in the field.
Draft and monitor the content, correctness, and completeness of acceptance criteria and files (e.g., project files, permit files, safety files, construction files, recognition files, maintenance/operation files, …).
Design and realize installations according to a TCO principle while considering incident investigations and best practices.
Act as a knowledge bearer for the specialization within the organization to centralize, standardize, secure, and share specific knowledge and information within the organization.
Keep current and continuously expand knowledge (participate in conferences and/or fairs, follow norms and legislation, …), as well as ensure the safeguarding and sharing of knowledge, for example through training and toolbox sessions.
Draft and check specifications, standards, and processes.
Develop, maintain, and contribute to maintenance and replacement plans in the medium term within your specialization(s), including budgeting.
