Overview

We are looking for a Junior Security Consultant with demonstrable experience in one of the following environments: data, infrastructure, applications, etc. The candidate will work under the direct supervision of the security architect and will be responsible for core tasks related to security incident management.

Key Responsibilities

Actively follow up and analyze incidents detected by the Elastic SIEM system to ensure timely identification and response.
Continuously monitor and manage network and system status via Nagios, identifying deviations and potentially critical situations.
Manage and respond to security incidents reported via Ivanti, initiating appropriate measures and corrective actions.
Dispatch incidents to relevant teams or individuals and escalate serious or complex incidents as necessary according to established procedures.
Test the functionality of existing and potential EDR solutions, SOAR flows, and improve detection rules.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrable experience as a Security Consultant in one of the following environments: data, infrastructure, applications.
Must have experience with general privacy principles.
Must have experience in information security.
Must have experience in security governance.
Must have experience in security risk management.
Demonstrable knowledge in analyzing, optimizing, and documenting security processes and governance.
Knowledge of information security is required.
Experience with security concepts such as IAM, network security, application security, and security protocols is preferred.
Experience with developing security policy frameworks is preferred.
Familiarity with security management techniques and frameworks (e.g., ISO27000 series, COBIT for Security, NIST, OWASP, CIS Critical Security Controls for Effective Cyber Defense) is preferred.
Knowledge and experience via certificates depending on the domain of expertise (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CEH) is preferred.
Knowledge of Elastic SIEM is preferred.
Knowledge of Nagios is preferred.
