Overview

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality solutions in .NET applications. You will work closely with other team members and report to the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a quality solution.
Provide well-founded estimates to functional analysts.
Collaborate closely with other members of the .NET team (analysts and fellow developers).
All projects are developed according to the Agile SCRUM methodology.
Report to the IT Manager.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in developing .NET-based applications.
Proven education with certification or equivalent experience in programming languages and environments such as .NET (C#), ASP.NET.
Proven experience in leading a development team and coaching developers.
Proven ability to perform programming tasks efficiently: coding, testing, and debugging.
Proven knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology, where a leading role can be taken.
Proven experience with Angular.
Proven experience with event sourcing and CQRS.
Proven knowledge of DevExpress.
Proven experience in developing a web application running within AWS.
Proven experience with SQL Server.
Proven knowledge of managing, setting up, and consuming APIs.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
Proven experience in the utilities sector is a nice to have.

Languages

Dutch: Native (C2) - required.
English: Very good (C1) - required.
French: Good (B2) - required.

Additional Info

The main objective of the project is to build a database that consolidates:
• Basic data of all buildings, infrastructure, and parcels used by the public sector in Flanders.
• Energy-related data from various sources.
Applications run in an AWS environment using various PaaS and IaaS solutions.
The input module uses AWS Elastic Beanstalk, built on .NET Web API and Angular 6.
The system is built around CQRS and event-sourcing patterns.
The underlying database is SQL Server.
