Overview
Fost Plus is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst with proven experience in ERP and/or accounting projects, who translates business needs into technical solutions by converting complex requirements into detailed functional specifications.Key Responsibilities
Analyze and document functional requirements, specifications, use cases, and process flows, with a particular focus on financial processes such as general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, cost allocation, and reporting.
Perform gap analyses between current and desired functionality within the ERP and accounting landscape, and analyze existing systems to identify improvement opportunities.
Maintain documentation on integrations between the ERP/accounting system and other components of the Fost Plus application landscape and external systems, including support for data migration and system integration activities.
Design and execute functional test scenarios specifically for accounting and financial workflows, coordinate UAT, and validate that functional requirements are met.
Facilitate workshops and design sessions with financial stakeholders and IT teams, acting as a proactive liaison between business, developers, and technical teams.
(Co-)lead an external implementation team in integrating the new ERP/accounting system into the Fost Plus landscape, as well as in migrating from the old to the new system; from planning and coordination to delivery and go-live support.
Train end-users on new ERP functionality and adapted financial processes, support production issues, and analyze change requests.
Lead the development team in planning and executing related development work, including functional expertise during project planning and estimation.
Guide other analysts who support the project.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in general business operations applied to ICT.
Proven experience with Atlassian tools JIRA and Confluence.
Proven experience in Functional and/or Business analysis is an absolute must.
Proven experience in preparing detailed analyses (UML, mockups).
Proven experience in developing conceptual models.
Proven experience in the development and optimization of business processes (BPM).
Proven experience in process analysis or process modeling.
Proven experience in Project Management and/or leading development teams.
Proven experience in requirements analysis and describing use cases.
Proven experience in stakeholder management.
Proven experience in translating needs into system models and/or application specifications.
Proven knowledge and experience of various Project Management aspects (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates).
Proven knowledge and experience of Financial and ERP systems, experience in building and analyzing applications within this ecosystem.
Experience within ICs, or members of Fost Plus where knowledge of Fost Plus was built, is an advantage.
Knowledge of the Belgian recycling ecosystem.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Languages
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
Additional Info
Work will be conducted in an Agile and primarily Dutch-speaking environment, but a good spoken knowledge of French is necessary for this project.
Deliverables are to be provided at the Fost Plus offices in Evere between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with a maximum of 2 days per week of remote work possible. There can be no deviation from the mandatory office days.
It is a minimum 4/5 or preferably full-time assignment. Part-time scenarios are not accepted.
Fost Plus provides the necessary licenses, software, and network access for performing the assignment.
