Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to support various applications in the domain of Data Management, specifically within ICT Applications Market Operations in Melle. You will be part of a team responsible for maintenance, capturing new needs, and software development for internal clients.

Key Responsibilities

You will work as an analyst/designer/Java developer on MNT assignments and project assignments for applications such as C2C.
Expected skills include JAVA, JBOSS Middleware, Redhat, Linux, and Jboss Fuse.
Maintenance tasks, bug fixing, and user support are also part of this assignment.
Share your knowledge with involved staff to leverage new insights.
Take the lead on assigned tasks and communicate proactively regarding any issues.
Primarily convert functional analyses into code and provide feedback where improvements are possible.
You may also be tasked with developing functional analyses and/or user stories.
You will be employed for projects within the Data Management domain (Jboss, Business Monitoring, MMR Gas, Fundi, etc.).
Analyze problems and propose efficient solutions.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in Java EE development - Must have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven experience in developing JAVA-based applications - Must have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven experience with JBOSS middleware product stack (EAP, Fuse) - Must have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven experience with GIT or other source control systems - Must have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven experience with Maven - Must have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JQuery - Must have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven experience in Jboss administration in a RedHat Linux environment - Must have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven knowledge and experience of the Market Operations processes MIG6 - Must have
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2 - Must have
Proven experience within the Belgian energy sector - Should have (3 Years, Mid)
Proven experience with one or more of the following technologies: Hibernate, Spring MVC, JSP - Should have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven experience in converting functional analyses into technical solutions (code) - Should have (5 Years, Senior)
Proven knowledge and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL) - Should have
Proven knowledge and experience with Unit Testing - Should have
Proven knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology - Should have
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2 - Should have

Additional Info

Go-live moments may occur on weekends or after office hours. As a true team player, you are not afraid of this and are willing to take this on in rotation with other colleagues.
You will participate in on-call duty during office hours from 07:30 to 18:00.
The telework policy allows for remote work for external resources. The right to telework is not enforceable and the frequency will always be determined in consultation with the team leader.
We expect the necessary flexibility regarding occasional travel to other locations or being temporarily more on-site at our organization.
