Overview
An experienced, results-oriented Senior Project Manager with proven expertise in large ERP implementations (preferably SAP S/4HANA) within complex, multi-actor environments. You are a strong communicator, mediator, and bridge builder who creates clarity where there is uncertainty, structure where there is chaos, and calm where there is pressure.Key Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager will:Take charge of the entire testing phase
Review and refine test scripts and test scenarios in collaboration with the partner.
Direct and structure the testing activities within the 26 school groups and central services.
Ensure that the supplier's deliverables meet quality expectations and contractual agreements.
Stabilize crises and restore trust
Clear communication and rebuilding trust with BPOs and other stakeholders.
Make risks, problems, and dependencies transparent.
Initiate quick corrective actions where necessary.
Direct and adjust the supplier
Stricter follow-up on planning, quality, and commitments.
Assertively negotiate when responsibilities shift or agreements are not met.
Facilitate escalations where necessary.
Collaborate with the current project leader
The current project leader remains on board and is guided, supported, and strengthened.
Tasks and responsibilities are clearly divided for maximum impact and continuity.
Monitor scope, deadlines, and quality
Develop a realistic recovery plan for the testing phase and further phases.
Set clear deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
Improve governance and reporting.
Prepare the organization for implementation
Strengthen change and communication processes.
Ensure clear instructions, quality control, and support for end-users.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience as a Project Leader in infrastructure or development projects (Must have, 5 Years, Senior)
Demonstrable experience with the terminology, organization, roles, and processes of PM methodology (e.g. Prince2, PMBok, …) (Must have)
Operational & Strategic Skills: Crisis management and Negotiation Skills (Must have)
Technical & Domain Expertise: ERP experience preferably specifically with SAP S/4HANA (Must have)
Demonstrable experience with project management techniques and tools (risk management, issue management, …) (Should have)
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with ITIL (Should have)
Demonstrable knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) (Should have)
Communication Skills: Clarity in communication (Should have)
ERP & IT Transformation: SAP S/4HANA (Should have, 5 Years, Senior)
Leadership & Stakeholder Management (Should have, 10 Years)
Public Sector & Education (Should have)
Crisis & Change Management: Recovery operations and Change Management (Nice to have)
