We are looking for a Senior Test Manager with expertise in SAP S/4 IS-U to join our IT department. The role involves establishing testing strategies, managing test plans, and ensuring quality assurance across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced JIRA skills and a strong background in testing methodologies.

Within the IT department, the Test Manager is likely to intervene on multiple projects, primarily in the area related to SAP S4 IS-U but not exclusively. Expertise in Utilities (IS-U) is crucial.

As part of the plans to implement new processes in SAP, we are looking for a consultant who is experienced in all types of testing solutions between IT and business.

The position requires both functional and technical experience and understanding in the required skill. The candidate should have a team spirit and be able to plan and work independently with IT experts and business users. Additionally, the consultant should be able to provide advice and coaching to colleagues in the testing domain.

Key Responsibilities

•Capable of establishing a testing strategy and approach for a project as well as for changes to the current solution.

•Writes the integrated test plan, with the support of the testing manager.

•Sets up and manages the tracking of tests and identified anomalies (including tracking the resolution of anomalies).

•Defines the scope and schedule of the different testing phases and establishes detailed tracking of tests (real-time dashboard).

•Monitors the development of different test scenarios based on the project blueprint and assists in their execution when necessary.

•Tracks the progress of tests against the schedule and reports anomalies, including associated risks, to the IT PM and project Steerco.

•Ensures that documentation and training align with testing needs.

•Verifies that all relevant applications and interfaces are tested to ensure no regression after production.

•Familiarizes with the SAP IS-U application and related applications.

Deliverables

•An approach and testing plan for the various SAP projects.

•A library of test scenarios (positive and negative).

•A list of acceptance criteria.

•An approach and testing solution.

•Reporting of test results as well as anomalies and actions related using the JIRA tool.

•Follow-up reports on tests and acceptance.

•In-depth documentation for future reuse.

Requirements

JIRA Expertise

The Test Manager must have advanced expertise in JIRA, including:

•Designing and optimizing workflows (conditions, validators, post-functions).

•Creating dashboards and real-time reports for tracking tests and anomalies.

•Using test management extensions such as Xray, Zephyr, or equivalent.

•Managing permissions, screens, schemes, and notifications. Demonstrated experience in JIRA administration is highly desired.

Methodological Skills

•An ISTQB Foundation certification is required; ISTQB Test Manager / Advanced certification is a major asset.

•The consultant must master testing methodologies (V-Model, Agile, Hybrid), quality risk management, defining test KPIs, and establishing structured testing governance.

SAP Specific Skills

•The consultant must have a good understanding of SAP S4 IS-U and Open Text processes as well as inter-module integration testing.

•Knowledge of SAP interfaces (IDoc, RFC, CPI) is a plus. They must be able to analyze a SAP blueprint, identify impacts on testing, and define relevant E2E scenarios.

Additional Info

The designated consultant will be assigned full-time to the execution of the market and may work potentially 440 man-days spread over a duration of ± 2 years, on a 40-hour weekly basis, during opening days. Services will be executed at least 3 days/week in person at the headquarters, potentially discontinuously, unless expressly approved by the IT Department Head. The consultant is informed that they are not authorized to work overtime or outside office hours without express permission. The designated consultant must comply with the provisions of the "Code of conduct for external providers".

The mission may be extended for a maximum duration (initial duration included) of: 880 working days.
