We are looking for a Senior Test Specialist to join our team and support various projects within the DRIVE program. The role involves documenting test scenarios, conducting functional tests, coordinating end-to-end processes, and ensuring quality integration across different domains. Candidates should have significant experience in testing and test coordination, with a strong focus on business-critical applications.

Overview

Within our organization, the DRIVE program is responsible for realizing and supporting various assignments and projects that we are confronted with, such as:

•Stabilization of the Central Market System (CMS) at Atrias and the new market processes (MIG6).

•RemCoDM

The projects within the program mainly focus on market operations with strong interaction with our metering, asset management, and financial systems. We are looking for a test specialist to strengthen our team. This test specialist will be deployed across various domains and will closely collaborate to ensure the quality integration of the different domains.

Key Responsibilities

As a candidate, you will be deployed for the following tasks:

•Document test scenarios and test progress in a central testing tool and be responsible for reporting from there.

•Conduct functional tests yourself (hands-on mentality).

•Coordinate E2E: across different application teams and/or across different projects.

•Align potential defects with functional analysts and ensure a clear defect description in the central testing tool.

•Guide end-users and business analysts in performing tests (UAT).

•Coordinate with various involved domains to prepare relevant test data for test execution.

•Track open defects and actively monitor the lifecycle of a defect.

•Organize Go/No Go meetings and provide a clear report of the tests in Confluence.

Skills & Experience

You have theoretical and practical knowledge of:

•Knowledge of "Enterprise application integration" solutions.

•Knowledge of BPM.

•Knowledge of XML.

•Knowledge of SQL.

•Experience using testing tools (Jira, Zephyr…).

•Proven experience with Specflow, Reqnroll, Tosca, Playwright, or Selenium.

•Proven experience with automated testing (e.g., Selenium).

Additionally, you possess the following core competencies:

•You analyze defects and provide an efficient, simple description.

•You are diplomatic and communicate smoothly with various stakeholders.

•You contribute to better collaboration through information exchange with colleagues.

•You can manage the English language (at least reading and understanding well).

•You are open to being multi-deployable depending on the evolving context and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

•You hold at least a bachelor's degree.

•You are proficient with Office applications.

•Basic knowledge of scripting/development is an advantage.

Languages

Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

•Proven experience with formal testing methods and techniques

•Proven experience in understanding functional and technical analyses for the correct implementation of various test scenarios

•Proven experience in preparing and executing test scenarios for data management and market processes

•Proven experience in visually presenting test results to involved stakeholders

•Obtained the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (or ISTQB certificate)

•Candidate can convince us during the interview of their hands-on mentality, coordination capacity, and communication skills.
