We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager Security to lead our SOC team of cybersecurity professionals. The role involves overseeing operations, incident response, and fostering collaboration to enhance cybersecurity awareness within the organization.

Overview

As a Service Delivery Manager Security and team leader of our SOC team, you are responsible for leading a team of four cybersecurity professionals. You will ensure continuous monitoring, detection, investigation, and response to threats and incidents on our network to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of our data.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development
Leading SOC team: Responsible for the daily and agile management, guidance, and motivating of employees. This includes direct leadership over the SOC team, including planning, task assignment, coaching, and performance evaluation.
Team development: Coordinating training and professional development for team members to support motivated teams of professionals working together in an open culture.

Cybersecurity Operations & Service Management
Continuous SOC operation & Monitoring: Coordinating the service delivery and absolutely ensuring the continuous operation of our SOC, including 24/7 monitoring when required.
Lifecycle & SLA management: Responsible for monitoring the full lifecycle of entrusted security products (from design to service). You manage the service level agreements (SLAs), monitor performance, and ensure strict compliance.
Trend analysis & Network protection: Continuously keeping track of the latest threats and security trends and applying this knowledge directly to protect our network. You ensure efficient service delivery and proactively seek process improvements.

Incident Response & Problem Management
Incident management & Recovery: You are the driving force behind developing and implementing robust procedures for incident response and recovery. You identify service-related problems and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
SPOC & Crisis communication: Acting as the Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for security emergencies and major incidents. In incidents, you are also responsible for crisis communication in close collaboration with OpsSupport, the SOC, and the communication service, translating technical jargon into clear language for end-users, management, and the cabinet.

Collaboration, Awareness & Reporting
Stakeholder management & Awareness: Maintaining and strengthening collaborations with partners, suppliers, and other internal departments. Actively using these relationships to raise awareness of cybersecurity organization-wide.
Reporting & Evaluation: Monitoring performance indicators. You structurally report to senior management and other stakeholders about the status, efficiency, and effectiveness of our cybersecurity efforts.

Skills & Experience

Technical Competencies

In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and trends.
Experience with various security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and network analysis tools.
Knowledge of Incident Response, experience responding to incidents, and experience drafting Incident Response procedures.
Experience drafting procedures for Vulnerability Management and knowledge of Vulnerability Management scanning tools.
Good knowledge of ethical hacking principles, experience with penetration testing, and knowledge of attack techniques is a plus.
Experience leading a team in a technical environment, preferably in cybersecurity.
Experience implementing security measures in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and knowledge of the Microsoft Security suite.
Certifications related to Ethical Hacking (CEH) and Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT) are desired.
Certifications in Project Management (PRINCE2), IT Service Management (ITIL), and Security Frameworks such as ISO27001 are an added value.

Languages

Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

Additional Info

Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with a technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience with ICT technology for which expertise is required. Proven experience with the technology in question or a similar technology.
