We are looking for a Mid-level Tester to join our team and ensure quality releases and successful project delivery. The role involves executing tests, documenting results, and collaborating closely with our vendor to minimize business impact from incidents and outages.

Atrias is currently shaping a testing organization to support our internal services and projects as well as our external clients, particularly the DGO's and energy suppliers. Our ambition is to ensure that the business is minimally impacted by incidents and outages.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Mid-level Tester. As a Mid-level Tester, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring quality releases and successful project delivery, working closely with our vendor.
Atrias provides the possibility for teleworking. For this specific assignment, a minimum of 2 days of physical presence (according to the agreements within the team) is required in the offices. The right to telework is not enforceable, and its frequency will always be determined in consultation with the team leader.
No evening/weekend/night work is planned unless there is an exceptional situation. On weekdays, an availability of 8 hours is required. Flexibility regarding start and end times is possible, but the contractor must be present at least between 09:00 and 16:00 (excluding lunch time).
Atrias follows the principle of "Bring your own device". We expect that your own laptop is equipped with the necessary current security software.

Key Responsibilities:
•Execute sanity/regression checks within the established timeframe
•Proper test documentation and reporting of test results
•Test design/execution of test cases in the context of implementing new changes
•Correctly log and follow up on defects in ALM QC
•Retest defects when they are resolved and handle the administrative tasks correctly.
•Knowledge transfer to backup testers and analysts in a clear and structured manner
•Correctly log and follow up on incidents if technical issues are found in the SAT environment
•Actively participate in stand-ups and team meetings
•Perform ad hoc analysis requests from the Problem & Change analyst
•Be eager to learn + team player
•Work independently, proactively communicate and report on test progress, defect follow-up, issues, and risks to the TestCo
Skills
•Proven experience as a Functional Software Tester
•Proven experience as a Test Specialist
•Proven experience in writing test scenarios
•Proven experience with batch processing of data within the energy market (e.g., Billing, Infeed, Settlement) according to MIG6/DGO standards
•Proven experience with billing platforms specifically for the utility sector (such as Mecoms or similar solutions)
•Proven experience with formal testing methods and techniques
•Proven experience in writing and executing SQL queries
•Proven experience with test design, test planning, and test execution
•Proven experience with Waterfall testing methodology
•Proven experience with XML, Soap UI
•Proven knowledge of English (Min C1): must be able to communicate in English
•Proven knowledge of French or Dutch (min C1 for one of the two languages, the other min B1)
•The candidate is certified at ISTQB Foundation level or higher (proof of certification must be uploaded)
•Proven experience as a tester in an Agile/Scrum project
•Proven experience with Agile methodology, preferably within testing
•Proven knowledge of the Belgian energy sector
•Proven experience with test automation
