Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer for a long-term collaboration to design, build, and optimize the cloud platform.

Start: ASAP
Duration: 31/12/2026 +
Full-time assignment
2 days per week onsite in Brugge

Key Responsibilities

Design and monitor Azure cloud blueprints including governance, security, and compliance
Implement best practices for scalability, high availability, and cost optimization
Build and improve cloud infrastructure components
Evaluate and integrate new Azure services according to the cloud strategy
Translate architectural choices into concrete technical implementations
Automate infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
Troubleshoot complex technical issues
Document architecture and technical guidelines
Actively follow developments within Azure and new technologies

Skills & Experience

At least 5 years of experience within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
Strong experience with:
o Azure infrastructure & services
o Governance, security, and cloud architecture
o CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Experience with PAI (Platform-as-Infrastructure) is a must
Experience with Azure API Management (APIM) is a must
In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong affinity with development teams and delivery context
Hands-on mentality focused on building, testing, and improving
Strong in troubleshooting and problem-solving
Proactive mindset: you think along and suggest improvements
Good communication skills towards stakeholders and team
