Overview
Pursuant to Article 14.5 of the GTC, we explicitly prohibit subcontracting for assignments on Connecting Expertise. Candidates proposing subcontracted resources will be automatically excluded from the selection process. For ongoing work in the field of liquidity risk management, we are currently seeking the help of consultancy services. The project will revolve around helping us to professionalize internally developed (EUC) liquidity stress testing tools, currently held in Microsoft Suite (excel / access). The chosen infrastructure is facing its inherent limits with regards to efficiency, speed of operation, future-proofness etc. There is also a distinct lack of professional operational governance i.e. controls, access rights, execution logs etc. We are investigating options to move the tools into a new programming language ecosystem and redesign these from ground up, taking into account regulatory demands and established know-how. To take this step, we first will need to weigh all available options against each other and select the best one. Once selected, the second part of the project will require the setup of the solution in the chosen programming language.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Analysis: You analyze existing business solutions and applications to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. You gather and document detailed process information through interviews, workshops, and observations.
Solution Design: You design and model optimized business applications that meet business needs and regulatory expectations.
Collaboration: You work closely with business stakeholders and solution owners to understand business requirements and regulatory expectations and translate them into an effective framework.
Implementation Support: You lead the implementation of the new solution in the selected programming language. You work with business stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are effectively integrated into the solution.
Documentation: You prepare and maintain detailed documentation of the new solution, including process maps, workflows, and business rules. You ensure that the documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
Stakeholder Management: You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that the solution meets their expectations and requirements. You provide training and support to users, addressing their questions and concerns.
Compliance and Risk Management: You ensure that the solution and related business processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies. You identify and mitigate process-related risks to enhance operational resilience.
Skills and Qualifications:
You have strong programming, analytical and problem-solving skills.
You have a solid understanding of liquidity risk management and associated regulatory rules and expectations for commercial banks.
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
