Fluvius is building a hybrid data and information landscape that combines an SAP-oriented platform with a data platform in a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment, using Power BI as the reporting tool. Various sources and applications are integrated into these platforms, built in different data and information layers, to create (advanced) analytics use cases and reports.
Additionally, a domain-oriented organization of data teams has been established where data and BI specialists work on the data and information products of the specific domain.
In the Market Operations domain, a Market Operations data warehouse was built in the SAP stack (ETL in BODS, reporting in WebI) as part of the establishment of a Central Market System (CMS) at Atrias and the introduction of new market processes (MIG6). To meet future BI & Analytics needs in this domain, a migration to the Azure data platform has started. We are looking for an experienced BI consultant who can contribute to this migration assignment as well as various BI projects with their BI and data expertise.
With your expertise and technical background, you can handle BI and data issues "end-to-end": you are responsible for needs analysis, technical design, data modeling in the Azure Databricks data platform, and visualization/reporting in Power BI. You guide the client throughout the entire delivery process.
You provide support to the data team to keep the BI and data platforms operational:

Additional Info
You will join a self-managing SCRUM data team of SAP BI and MS Azure BI experts, where you will perform the following activities:In consultation with information analysts, you will create functional analyses/specifications and discuss these with various stakeholders (you will also ensure the validation of the documents).
Based on reporting needs, you will develop the data model in accordance with Fluvius BI regulations.
You will be responsible for the technical implementation within a MS Azure environment from extraction to final report.
You will follow the standard development cycle within the respective environments.
You will verify the executed work based on a predefined test plan and assist in providing test data to execute the test cases.
You will ensure that your work fits within our monitoring and alerting setup so that all errors are immediately visible to meet the agreed service levels.
You will develop overarching communication and training materials and keep them up to date.
You will be responsible for lifecycle management and updates/upgrades of existing environments.
You will assist the data team in resolving technical issues.
Based on your expertise, you will make improvement proposals within the Databricks BI framework.
You will assist the business in using reporting tools.
You will contribute to the future of BI in the Fluvius context, preparing the client for future innovations and guiding them in the introduction of these changes.
