For a project within an operational IT environment at the Police Zone Antwerp, we are looking for an experienced ICT consultant with expertise in control room technology, visualization platforms, and KVM infrastructure.
Overview
The consultant supports the analysis, design, and optimization of control room solutions where various operational systems, data sources, and visualization platforms are integrated. The consultant is expected to translate both functional and technical needs into robust infrastructure and visualization solutions.Key Responsibilities
Conduct analyses.
Formulate technical recommendations.
Guide implementations.
Coordinate with various stakeholders within the organization.
Skills & Experience
Experience in critical operational environments (such as security, dispatching, monitoring, or command centers) is a significant asset.
Higher education (Master's or Bachelor's) with a technical/engineering background or equivalent experience with ICT technology for which expertise is requested.
Demonstrable experience with the technology in question or a similar technology.
Languages
Language requirement: Fluent in Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
Additional Info
The duration of the assignment can be extended by mutual agreement for periods of 12 months, within the limits of the framework agreement of the Facility Company.
Price adjustments are not allowed, except for indexation during the assignment, which is permitted after each period of 12 consecutive months.
Termination by the service provider: the contractor may terminate the agreement at any time by registered letter with one (1) month notice.
Termination by AG Digipolis Antwerp: AG Digipolis Antwerp may terminate the agreement at any time by registered letter with one (1) month notice.

What we're looking for
- Hogere opleiding (Master of Bachelor) met technische/engineering achtergrond of gelijkwaardig door ervaring met ICT-technologie waarvoor expertise gevraagd wordt
- Aantoonbare ervaring voor de technologie in kwestie of een gelijkaardige technologie
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met control room omgevingen
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met functionele en technische analyse van IT- en infrastructuursystemen
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met KVM-technologieën en het distribueren van video- en datastromen binnen complexe IT-omgevingen
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met videowall oplossingen
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met implementatie of optimalisatie van monitoring-, dispatching- of securitysystemen
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met integratie van meerdere operationele systemen en databronnen in control room omgevingen
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met stakeholdermanagement en het faciliteren van workshops in technische projecten
- Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met training, begeleiding of kennisoverdracht rond nieuwe technologieën of platformen
