We are looking for an Infrastructure Onboarding Specialist to assist with the onboarding and migration of servers to a new data center. The role involves coordinating with various technology teams and ensuring that integrations are executed efficiently and correctly.

Overview

For the commissioning of the new data center in the new building, we are looking for someone to assist and structure the onboarding and migration of new and existing servers and their integration into the new network.

Key Responsibilities

Guide the onboarding of applications and systems onto the new network platform and to the new data center.
Ensure that integrations are correctly prepared, executed, and monitored according to the agreed network and segmentation principles.
Ensure efficient and consistent processes across different teams.
Act as the central point of contact within the onboarding process and monitor progress, quality, and alignment.

Skills & Experience

Infrastructure & network segmentation
Insight into network segmentation and communication flows.
Understanding of security principles in enterprise environments.
Basic knowledge of network concepts (IP, routing, firewalls, segmentation).
Basic knowledge of data center infrastructure (racks, patching, servers).

Additional Info

You will receive a full-time contract for a freelance assignment through an intermediary for 6 months. An extension for 3 months is possible by mutual agreement.

Languages

Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

What you'll do

  • Begeleiden van de onboarding van applicaties en systemen op het nieuwe netwerkplatform en naar het nieuwe datacenter.
  • Zorgen dat integraties correct worden voorbereid, uitgevoerd en opgevolgd volgens de afgesproken netwerk- en segmentatieprincipes.
  • Efficiënt en consequent verlopen over verschillende teams heen.
  • Fungeren als centraal aanspreekpunt binnen het onboardingproces en bewaken van de voortgang, kwaliteit en afstemming.

What we're looking for

  • Aantoonbare ervaring in algemene bedrijfsvoering met toepassing op ICT gebied.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met het begeleiden van verschillende technologieteams en integratoren bij de onboarding op een nieuw netwerk.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met het efficiënt en correct begeleiden met de nodige technische requirements om een built of een migratie te faciliteren.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van bedrijfsprocessen (BPM).
  • Aantoonbare kennis van netwerkconcepten (IP, routing, firewalls, segmentatie).
  • Aantoonbare kennis van securityprincipes in enterprise-omgevingen.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met het implementeren van applicaties en systemen op een netwerkplatform.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met stakeholder management.
  • Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring van de verschillende Project Management facetten (kosten, timing, coördinatie, planning, schattingen).
  • Aantoonbare kennis van datacenter infrastructuur (racks, patching, servers).
