Overview

We are looking for a Junior JAVA Developer to join an agile DevOps team that is responsible for developing and managing state-of-the-art applications and components for the port and the port community.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain JAVA-based applications.
Ensure efficient information exchange between all involved parties in the railway transport chain.
Analyze and realize an application that provides end-to-end transparency over door-to-door goods transport by rail.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrable experience in developing JAVA-based applications.
Experience with Java.
Experience with Spring.
Relevant education with certification or equivalent experience in programming languages and environments such as Java/J2EE.
Basic knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology.
Ability to code, test, and debug programming tasks, potentially with some coaching.
Experience with Agile and Scrum.
Experience with Angular.
Experience with DevOps principles.
Experience with Docker.
Experience with ElasticSearch.
Experience with Figma.
Experience with Git.
Experience with Hibernate.
Experience with JUnit.
Experience with Oracle/SQL.
Experience with projects in the domain of railways.
Knowledge of Kafka.
