Mission Details
As part of our activities, we are looking for a Network Architect. This is a full-time mission estimated to last 1 year, ideally starting on 01/01/2027. Part of the mission can be done remotely in consultation with the manager, but a minimum presence on-site in Gosselies is mandatory. The Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, so having a driving license and a vehicle will be preferable for travel.Mission Context
The resource will join the Network IP expertise team responsible for operational management, configuration changes, modifications of architectures, and security related to network equipment. They will ensure the design of infrastructures as well as part of level 3 support. The resource must have skills in routing, switching, and network security. They will also contribute to the drafting of strategies, public markets, instructions, procedures, and documentation.Main Tasks
Design the ORES data network
Ensure coherence between all systems
Technical expertise for projects, evolving requests, and corrective requests
Ensure the implementation of modifications related to network infrastructures
Design and implement security aspects
Install and configure systems
Manage external service providers
Analyze recurring incidents and propose solutions or escalate the issue to the Service Delivery Manager
Create and maintain operational and technical documentation of systems

Capable of communicating technical aspects, specifics, and constraints related to IT infrastructures to a non-specialized audience by "simplifying" their discourse and being able to empathize with their client and explain the impacts of various technological choices on their daily business reality. They will also have good writing skills.
Capable of managing their time and priorities, even if it means revising schedules based on constraints and unplanned impactful events.
Autonomous, able to work in a team, and with very good communication skills.
The position requires administrative rights or access to classified confidential information, qualifying it as high risk for ORES's information systems. CCNP certification (or equivalent) (obtained in the last decade)
Cisco Certified Specialist - Data Center ACI Implementation certification (obtained in the last decade)
Language requirement: English level B2 on the CEFR scale
Language requirement: French level C1 on the CEFR scale
Work experience for a GRD/Energy supplier in Belgium
Expertise in network security aspects
Demonstrated Datacom expertise, including routing/switching technologies, WIFI, DHCP/DNS
Experience in capturing needs and defining multi-vendor OT network architecture
Experience in developing strategies and scenarios for Datacenter migration
Experience in developing cost cases related to technological changes.
