Overview
We are looking for a Network Specialist Medior to be responsible for the daily monitoring of the network/security infrastructure's proper functioning. You will ensure adherence to technical standards and guidelines, execute management tasks in the domains of networks and security efficiently, and monitor system performance and availability.Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily monitoring of the network/security infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to technical standards and guidelines.
Execute management tasks in networks and security efficiently.
Monitor system performance and availability.
Proactively manage your domains, including proactive patches, bug fixes, and service packs.
Collaborate on projects and provide well-founded advice. As an infrastructure manager, you will be a co-decision maker in designing solutions regarding manageability.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of new trends in the network/security field.
Solid practical knowledge of common network and security protocols and appliances.
Ability to configure and troubleshoot: Infoblox DDI, Ironport spam filter, Palo Alto firewall, F5/AVI load balancer, Ivanti/Pulse Connect Secure, SSL Certificates, Crush FTP.
Proven experience as a network specialist.
Experience in system administration and system configurations related to applied networking technology.
Experience with network infrastructure (e.g., Cisco Fortigate).
Experience with Routing & Switching.
Experience with Network Security.
Experience with LAN, WAN protocols.
Languages
Dutch: Native (C2) - Required
Additional Info
Experience in the public sector is a plus.
Experience with Fresh Services is a plus.
