We are looking for an Open Source Developer to design and create applications that integrate mapping and geolocation. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java and modern JavaScript frameworks, and will contribute to the evolution of our projects in a collaborative environment.

As an Open Source Developer, you design and create applications where mapping, geolocation, and computing intertwine to provide innovative solutions. In collaboration with a passionate team of analysts, architects, and developers, you contribute to the evolution of our projects and enrich our platforms.
GeoSquare Sud is the French-speaking team of GeoSquare. As a Belgian company, GeoSquare is committed to highlighting location possibilities for its clients. Our services focus on the design and development of customized solutions. Each of our solutions and strategies blends location issues with computing. We provide solutions that help our clients work more efficiently.
Additionally, we provide analyses that support and facilitate our clients' strategic and operational decision-making processes. Our innovative and flexible services are primarily aimed at public services and industry.

Your tasks:
•With Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks, you develop high-performance, user-friendly applications.
•You actively participate in the design and evolution of the software architecture.
•You ensure code quality and perform testing throughout development.
•You are involved from start to finish in technical projects: design, development, integration, and optimization.
•You solve complex problems and stay updated on technological innovations related to your fields.
The technologies we use?
•Java, Spring Boot, OpenLayers, modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or equivalent), HTML5, and CSS3.
•Relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs such as JPA and Hibernate.
•Cloud environments: AWS, GCP, Azure.
•Linux, NGINX, HTTPD, Docker, microservices, and REST APIs.
What do we expect from you?
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
•Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the mentioned technologies
•Good mastery of Java
•Experience with at least one front-end framework
•Enthusiasm, technical expertise, and professionalism.
