Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior PMO Officer to temporarily take on a key role within our project and portfolio operations. You will join an organization that has invested heavily in professional project, program, and portfolio management in recent years, where project work is a significant lever for innovation, digitization, and organizational development.You will support management, project leaders, and product owners in realizing strategic change initiatives and help maintain focus on the initiatives that make the most difference for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support project leaders and product owners in the initiation, execution, and monitoring of projects;
Monitor planning, risks, dependencies, and progress of projects;
Ensure quality control of project documentation and reporting;
Support the monitoring and prioritization of the project portfolio;
Facilitate consultation and decision-making processes;
Contribute to capacity planning and portfolio analysis;
Assist management in translating strategic objectives into a realizable project portfolio;
Ensure coherence between projects, programs, and strategic priorities;
Provide steering information for portfolio, investment, and prioritization decisions;
Help management maintain focus on change initiatives and investments;
Contribute to the further professionalization of project and portfolio operations within the agency.
This assignment goes beyond classical project support. You will help management make the right choices, maintain focus in a large change agenda, and translate strategic ambitions into concrete results.

Skills & Experience
Proven experience with ICT project work in accordance with applicable methodology, supporting project leaders, creating project offers, etc.
Proven experience with projects according to Prince2 methodology (PMI, PMBOK, etc.)
Proven experience with Microsoft Project tools
Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications
Proven experience with asset management tools (including configuration management and license management)
Languages
Language requirement: Fluent in Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

What you'll do
- Ondersteun je projectleiders en product owners bij de opstart, uitvoering en opvolging van projecten
- Bewaak je planning, risico's, afhankelijkheden en voortgang van projecten
- Zorg je voor kwaliteitscontrole van projectdocumentatie en rapporteringen
- Ondersteun je de opvolging en prioritering van de projectportfolio
- Faciliteer je overleg- en besluitvormingsprocessen
- Werk je mee aan capaciteitsplanning en portfolioanalyse
- Ondersteun je het management bij de vertaling van strategische doelstellingen naar een realiseerbare projectportfolio
- Bewaak je de samenhang tussen projecten, programma's en strategische prioriteiten
- Lever je stuurinformatie voor portfolio-, investerings- en prioriteringsbeslissingen
- Help je het management focus aan te brengen in veranderinitiatieven en investeringen
- Draag je bij aan de verdere professionalisering van de project- en portfoliowerking binnen het agentschap
What we're looking for
- Aantoonbare ervaring met ICT projectwerking conform de toepasselijke methodologie, het ondersteunen van projectleiders, het maken van projectoffertes, e.d.m.
- Aantoonbare ervaring met projecten volgens Prince2 methodologie (PMI, PMBOK, …)
- Aantoonbare ervaring met Microsoft Project tooling
- Aantoonbare ervaring met Microsoft Office Toepassingen
- Aantoonbare ervaring met asset management tools (o.a. configuratiebeheer en licentiebeheer)
