We are looking for a Social Media Manager responsible for the strategic management and optimization of our social media channels. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in social media management, content strategy, and analytics, with a strong focus on engagement and community growth.

Overview

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic management and optimization of our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn). You will ensure that our online presence is professional, attractive, engaging, and goal-oriented. You will develop and implement a strong content strategy aimed at increasing likes, followers, clicks, and interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Set up and correctly configure all backend settings (accounts, ad management, tracking, etc.)
Develop a thoughtful content strategy tailored to the target audiences and ambitions of the festival
Create and manage a content calendar
Create attractive and relevant content (text, images, and possibly video)
Monitor and analyze performance (KPIs such as reach, engagement, clicks, and growth)
Continuously optimize campaigns and content based on data and trends
Engage with followers and manage community interactions
Stay updated on the latest social media trends and algorithm updates

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn (organic and paid)
Experience with social media tools and analytics (such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.)
Creative and visually strong (basic graphic skills, experience with tools like Canva, Adobe, etc.)
Excellent writing skills and a good sense of tone of voice
Strategic thinking and results-oriented mindset
Knowledge of content marketing and digital marketing principles
Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a structured manner
Analytical mindset and data-driven approach

Languages

Language requirement: Fluent in Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
