We are looking for a Freelance Solution Architect – Supply Chain (Logistics Focus) for a long-term assignment in Zwijndrecht.

Long-term assignment
Context
For a challenging assignment with an international player, we are looking for a Solution Architect Supply Chain. The focus is on designing a future-proof end-to-end architecture within the supply chain, with a strong emphasis on logistics and integration of core systems.Role Objective
The consultant is responsible for defining the target architecture and guiding the process from concept to RFP to implementation within the supply chain landscape.Responsibilities
Develop an end-to-end supply chain architecture
Focus on:
• Logistics• Asset Management
• Procurement
Define a target architecture & roadmap
Translate the current situation into a future-proof target architecture
Prepare and guide an RFP process
Lead high-level solution design
Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders
Monitor integrations between systems, including:
• D365 Finance & Operations• Maximo (asset/warehouse context)
• Ivalua (procurement)
Contribute to outsourcing scenarios (e.g., 4PL partners)
Profile
Experience as a Solution Architect within supply chain/logistics
Strong knowledge of:
• End-to-end supply chain processes• Integration architecture
Experience with (at least partially):
• D365 F&O• Maximo
• Procurement tools (e.g., Ivalua or similar)
Experience with:
• RFP processes• Target architecture & roadmap design
Strong in stakeholder management (business & IT)
Conceptually strong + hands-on pragmatic
Experience with outsourcing/4PL is a plus
Skills
Experience in leading high-level design
Experience in defining a target architecture & roadmap
Experience in designing a future-proof end-to-end supply chain architecture
Maintain good relationships with business and IT
Willing to work in Antwerp (Left Bank) - 50% remote
Minimum 3 days per week available, preferably full-time
Good knowledge of English
Experience in preparing and guiding an RFP process
Experience in contributing to outsourcing scenarios
Strong focus on logistics, asset management, procurement, and their integration
Strong communicator with good stakeholder management skills
