We are looking for a mid-level Drupal specialist to perform maintenance on various Drupal websites. The role requires extensive experience with Drupal solutions, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing Drupal applications and managing web projects.

Description (English)

As a Drupal specialist, you will be engaged to perform corrective, adaptive, and preventive maintenance on all Drupal websites, such as natuurenbos.be, natuurenbos.vlaanderen.be, and natura2000.vlaanderen.be.

Skills & Experience

•Proven Drupal certification

•Proven experience in developing Drupal applications (3 years, mid-level)

•Proven experience with (interfacing) GIS systems (Google Maps API, ARCGIS)

•Proven experience with HTML5 and CSS (3 years, mid-level)

•Proven experience with Responsive Design (3 years, mid-level)

•Proven thorough knowledge of one or more programming languages and environments such as PHP, including frameworks.

•Proven experience in using code versioning (e.g., Subversion)/testing & code profiling tools/issue management tools (e.g., Jira).

•Proven experience in leading a development team and coaching developers.

•Proven experience in creating technical analyses.

•Proven experience in programming tasks, being able to code, test, and debug very smoothly.

•Proven experience with Git/GitHub version control repositories.

•Proven knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology, where a leading role can be taken.

•Proven knowledge of object-oriented analysis & design and UML.

•Proven education with certification or equivalent experience in programming languages and environments such as PHP.

•Proven practical experience with AWS (ECS, DB management).

•Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with a technical/engineering or business economics background or equivalent experience.

•Ability to manage and support multiple (existing) web projects (3 years, mid-level).

Languages

•Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

Additional Info

•The number of ordered days is decisive; start and end dates are indicative and can be adjusted if necessary.

•Performance is not entered by the supplier but imported by the client after registration in JIRA. The supplier receives the pro forma invoice around the 10th of the month.

•Performance must be submitted for approval in JIRA by the last day of the month to be considered. Late submitted performance statements will be rejected.

•The supplier is expected to monitor the balance themselves and report one month before the expected exhaustion of the number of days. Performance in over-run will not be allowed and is at the supplier's risk.

•External staff must work at least 1 day/week from the headquarters.

•External staff can perform a maximum of 220 days (pro-rata work regime) per calendar year; performance in over-run will not be allowed.
