Overview

We are looking for a System Engineer Datacenter in Hasselt with a minimum of 5 years of experience, who wants to contribute to managing and optimizing a critical datacenter infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate technical projects and follow up with external parties involved

•Prepare and manage documentation regarding technical installations and specifications

•Organize and optimize maintenance activities to ensure continuity

•Execute and coordinate technical interventions on the existing infrastructure

•Manage and improve procedures and standard solutions within operations

•Monitor project parameters: budget, planning, quality, risks, and communication

•Perform in-depth analyses on:

o electrical installations
o HVAC systems
o security systems

•Actively contribute to the reliability and performance of the datacenter

Skills & Experience

•Master's degree (or equivalent through experience), preferably in electromechanics / industrial sciences

•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a datacenter context (must)

•Proven experience in one or more domains:

o electricity
o HVAC
o fire safety
o security
o technical project management

•Strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic approach

•Interest in both technical analyses and project follow-up

•Communicative, flexible, and team-oriented

•Eager to learn and up-to-date with technological developments

Languages

•Fluent in English

•Location: Hasselt (Universiteitslaan)

•Presence: minimum 2 days per week onsite

•Remote work: possible in combination

•On-call duty: approximately 10 weeks per year
