We are looking for a Middleware System Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle WebLogic for a long-term assignment. The role involves daily management of middleware environments and requires strong incident handling and troubleshooting skills.

We are looking for a hands-on Middleware System Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle WebLogic and broader middleware platforms for an assignment within a critical enterprise environment.

Profile

Hands-on middleware engineer with operations (RUN) mindset
Strong in incident handling and troubleshooting under pressure
Able to work independently and function within a team
Proactive and capable of proposing improvements at a technical and architectural level

Practical

Start: June 2026
Long-term assignment
Hybrid working environment (partial remote work possible)
Occasional interventions outside office hours and limited weekend support
Language knowledge: French or English. Knowledge of both languages is a plus.
Budget: max 750 Euro per day, excl. VAT

Responsibilities

Daily management of middleware environments (WebLogic, Apache, Nginx, IAM, ESB)
Incident management and troubleshooting in production environments
Contributing to updates, upgrades, and lifecycle management
Monitoring and performance follow-up of the platforms
Executing application deployments (manual and automated)
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation
Securing the environments and following up on security practices
Actively contributing to optimizations and technical improvements
Collaborating with operations, release management, and other IT teams

Required Skills

Very strong experience with Oracle WebLogic (must-have)
Strong knowledge of:
o Linux (Red Hat)
o Apache & Nginx
Experience with:
o IAM and ESB (e.g., Axway)
o Monitoring tools (Elastic, Instana, Icinga)
Strong scripting skills:
o Ansible, Python, Bash
Experience with:
o ITIL processes and ServiceNow
