We are looking for an experienced Team Lead Development/Project Manager for a long-term assignment in Brugge.

Overview

Start: ASAP
Duration: 31/12/2026+
Location: Brugge
Full-time assignment, long term
Onsite work required on Wednesdays and Fridays. Additional onsite presence required for reporting to management (outside of fixed onsite days).

Your Role

You are responsible for the operational management of development teams and ensuring the qualitative and timely delivery of custom-built software solutions. You combine the role of Scrum Master within the team with planning, delivery ownership, and coaching of the teams. You work in a high visibility context where the impact of your teams is directly visible.

Responsibilities

Take on the role of Scrum Master within the team (must-have)

Translate the roadmap into concrete planning and execution

Responsibility for delivery (scope, timing, quality)

Direct, coach, and challenge development teams

Monitor quality within custom software projects

Facilitate Agile ceremonies and improve team collaboration

Coordinate releases and track progress

Remove impediments

Align teams and stakeholders

Report on progress, risks, and delivery

Profile

Experience as a Development Team Lead, Project Manager, or Scrum Master (+/-10 years)

Strong experience with custom software development (must-have)

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Strong in delivery management and execution

Experience in a regulated environment (must)

Experience with governance, compliance, and audit context

Strong in coaching, team performance, and stakeholder management

Personality

Hands-on and results-oriented

Strong ownership mentality

Coaching but also assertive

Structured and methodical

Comfortable in an environment with complex projects and pressure on delivery

Freelance assignment for the long term

Onsite presence: Wednesday and Friday
