Overview
We are looking for a Test Analyst with expertise in functional integration and user acceptance testing.Key Responsibilities
Expert knowledge of functional integration and user acceptance testing
Expert knowledge of test automation
Expert knowledge of test methodologies within the applicable SDLC (V-Model, Agile, Iterative,...)
Very good knowledge of test methods such as ISTQB, Tmap
Minimum 5 years of experience testing large business-critical applications
Communication skills towards internal project teams
Very good knowledge of at least the test tools to be used

Additional Info
Location: Brussels and Aalst --> Both locations must be flexibly accessible for the candidate. Additionally, the candidate can work from home a maximum of 3 days. This can also be less, depending on needs.What you'll do
- Test analysis
- Review all relevant documentation and information (test basis)
- In case of ambiguities, consult with the involved business analyst, project manager, or test coordinator
- Prepare test scenarios accurately and in a structured manner within a certain timeframe
- Define the minimum test requirements
- Apply various test techniques
- Prepare test data
- Actively participate in working groups and meetings
- Proactively and constructively signal bottlenecks to optimize the testing process
- Provide input for and review the test analysis plan
- Monitor own planning
- Report daily on the progress of the test analysis
- Keep manual and automated test scenarios up-to-date
- Coaching of colleagues regarding the use of the test tool
- Test execution
- Accurately and critically execute (manually and automatically) the test scenarios in the applications to be tested (including regression test scenarios)
- Record, report, and analyze (root cause) the test results, establishing connections between the various results
- Pay attention to the usability of the system
- Create, retest, and follow up on defects
- Report IPS-blocking defects
- Take a position regarding the production-readiness of a release
- Actively participate in working groups and meetings
- Proactively and constructively signal bottlenecks to optimize the testing process
- Provide input for and review the test execution plan
- Monitor own planning
- Provide feedback to the test analyst regarding the test analysis
- Report daily on the progress of the test execution
