The Products division of DIPO relies on innovative and agile processes (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD) to design high-performance and scalable software solutions. You will join a dynamic team that is curious about new technologies and focused on innovation.The ABIS project – Automated Biometric Identification System – is a system for storing, processing, and analyzing biometric data. It aims to replace and upgrade the existing system within the central service of the federal police. This system is used 24/7 by thousands of field police officers.
Mission Description
Participation in the development and evolution of applications and web services within the framework of the ABIS project (development of APIs and web services necessary for data exchange between various police applications and external partner services).
Contribution to technical analyses, collaboration with front and backend solution developers of the ABIS team.
Design of high-quality REST APIs.
Potential development of user interfaces (HTML, CSS, JS).

Practical Information
Duration: Until the end of the year (31/12/2026), extendable
Regime: Full-time (40h/week)
Working conditions: Presence in the office at least twice a week depending on tasks and in agreement with the team, remote work allowed from home (in Belgium)
Team: multidisciplinary, mix of internal and external collaborators.
